I swear, snooker fans are so bucking miserable.
A replacement tournament not being televised (if true) isn’t the beginning of the end for buck’s sake.

It's not a huge deal, but it is a bit frustrating that Eurosport announced a week ago that it would be on Discovery+, and now it's not and no clear reason has been given.
This lack of explanation for changes seems to be standard for WST over the last couple of years.

It's hardly cause for celebration though is it?

Yes but when Matchroom isn't free is it fair for us to have to pay extra for something we shouldn't really have too? Some of us are paying for Discovery plus / Eurosport player, Sky subscription, then other streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney plus etc.
So this is why we are moaning about it. If you are happy to pay for it then fair enough but some of us aren't.

why shoulnd't you have to pay for it? it's a new event not part of any previous broadcaster contract. to be aired someone needs to pay for it. any other services you may or may not have opted to use are neither here nor there.

Because it was supposed to be on Discovery plus initially. Apparently during the Welsh Open they confirmed they will be showing it. I'll just find some streams to watch it anyway and share them with people interested (assuming I can find them)

where have you been
last couple of decades is more acurate
its a last minute change everything was up in the air after turkey cancellation, at the end of the day someone will earn 80k and we will have snooker on the alternative was
ZERO on both counts.

There's a high demand to re-watch some skiing that happened in 2018.

Wish they could release that on DVD so I can rewatch again and again at my own leisure.
