I thought it was 10-8 for some reason so in fact we've not had a close final this season then (not in my eyes anyway)

It didn't feel that close in the end though, as it was such a weird match. Poor Ding.

The Tour Championship final was 10-9 but I literally can’t remember much about it other than Higgins collapsing

I'll never enjoy watching him, but I've taken a slight shine to Selby since that match against Yan Bingtao at the Crucible. He'd been through a very hard time but refused to buckle. Yan had to go get it done himself.

Have to take your hat off to that kind of thing. Even if you're Pink Ball, Lord of the pin ends.
