I once saw someone miscue and pot the brown in the middle of the break off shot. But I've never seen the black go in. I bet your mate gave them a heck of a clout. Was he trying to smash the balls up?

He was playing the break off shot normally but I think he just mishit it and a red cannoned off the black and knocked it in.
