well you never know but anything other than an Allen win or in fact a comfortable win would be major surprise.

going to a gig tomorrow evening, so if allen got things sewn up early that'd be fine by me.

What gig? I’m hoping it’s over early too as want to watch the Singapore F1.

Surely Day won't play as badly as he did last night? As Hendry and Angles said in the post-match analysis, hopefully him not being favourite and a heavy underdog will free him up a bit.

As long as Ryan Day can give it a good shot and win 6+ frames and not ruin the final unlike a certain Barry Hawkins that did this multiple times this year!

Barry Hawkins was brilliant getting to the final in Germany and did not perform in the final this is not the one-sided final many expect
Of course it could be but its far from being nailed on

Excellent start from Mark, I notice they haven't yet mentioned the Clive Everton Trophy, slightly surprising since he did commentary for ITV4

When Mark Allen is on fire he is one of the most exciting players to watch, in my opinion. I remember watching him play in Antwerp once, and he was just potting them off the lampshades at lightning speed and it seemed like he wasn't even trying.
