Yep, there's only one O'Sullivan left in the European Masters to come on...

15 professionals head to Germany unbeaten in ranking events this season, one of the statistical consequences of the Championship League format. FTR they are Ricky Walden 10 matches; Jimmy Robertson 8; Yuan Sijun 7; Zhou Yuelong 5; Ryan Day 5; Zhang Anda 5; David Grace 5; Mitchell Mann 5; Kyren Wilson 4; Andy Hicks 4; Wu Yize 4; Si Jiahui 4; Judd Trump 3; Yan Bingtao 1; Anthony McGill 1. Will one of them emerge victorious next Sunday? Meanwhile, in a further statistical quirk, defending champion (and thus number one seed) Fan Zhengyi is the only professional competing yet to win a ranking event match this season.

Yeah, that's kind of a weird statistic now you mention it.

How many ranking events have there been? One. Of the people who are entered, how many are undefeated? 15.

The matches in the first session all look interesting.
I think I'll plump for Vafaei v Xiao. Xiao Guodong has been in form so far this season after a dodgy year. Should prove a strong test for Vafaei.

Yes its a tough choice this morning. I'll probably either go for that or Brecel v Wu Yize

Don’t forget to join Revolving Cues. The wildcard deadline will pass at 10am today but you have until the start of the second round to choose your two players for the tournament.

only one? i'd have hoped they'd sell more tickets.

And you'd expect them to be using air conditioning. Aren't they worried the balls will blow around?
