this would be Fu's greatest moment of his career if he wins his home tournament especially given the opponents he would have beaten along the way.

Yeah I’d have to agree, and especially given all the eyesight problems and then Covid restrictions he’s been through. Plus making a max along the way.
I’ll be rooting for Fu tomorrow.

Then it has a huge prize money for an invitational, 307 000 pounds in total and 100 000 for the winner.

I could've sworn that I saw that there was some exhibition event happening in the morning. I'd assumed that the losers would play some kind of team event or something. Nothing is being shown on Eurosport by the look of it.
Why not just have a best of seventeen or nineteen?

They are playing an exhibition tomorrow afternoon, featuring the top players against some young local players: Ayden Wan, Oliver Tam, Cowen Wong, Danny Pang. Hong Kong snooker has been threatened with funding cuts, so showcasing young talent might been seen as a way to persuade the government to change their mind.

Oh right.
But not on Discovery+?
I might put some of the Scottish Open on until midday.

I know Discovery+ is brilliant, and all.
But a pity this is tucked away, and not on the main channel.
It feels like a match that should be publicised as much as possible.
I might even go as far as to say it'd be good for it to be on the BBC.

Yes it's really annoying that it's not on the main Eurosport channel, to not show this on the main channel is just absolutely criminal for a final!

It's not just that it's a final.
But one in Hong Kong, with 9000 fans.
You could argue that only The Crucible final this season final is more important.
Also, I wish it was bo17/bo19.
