Was Ian Black known for his toilet breaks?
I only ever remember him from the Scotland team in the State Express World Team Classic
Don’t expect so. He made one Crucible appearance, losing 10-3 to Perrie Mans.

What was the snooker 'atmosphere' like back in the days of Bill Werbeniuk, Alex Higgins and other legends like that?
Do you think the atmosphere was better then, or now?
I think it's great now. But it must have been brilliant watching a 'grudge match' between, say, Alex Higgins and Cliff Thorburn or something like that.
In a snooker player's book I read (can't remember whose it was) it said that Cliff Thorburn threatened to chuck Alex Higgins out of a window or something. lol.
