these old farts are truly an unique generation. Five, six years ago I thought only Ron could maybe play to a high level into his mid 40's because of his natural ablility. But Higgins and Williams are doing it as well.
The main reason probably is that even a 80% version of them is better than 99% of the other players.

When you consider what they've all achieved and the fact they've had to deal with each other it's pretty remarkable.

It’s just a reminder how good they each were at their absolute peaks. They were bucking animals. I don’t think I’ve seen snooker played to that level by any other players apart from Hendry, Davis, and very fleetingly, Judd.
