I don't think their level of play has been much different in this tournament.
But Ronnie's will to win has been great to see and he should beat Wilson.

Did Ronnie get out of that session 5-3? All I remember is thinking a Ronnie got away with 2 frames he should never have.
Ronnie lost the 2nd session 5-4.
He should have lost 6-3 at the very least.

Only managed to watch bits of the match earlier. That frame Noppon stole was impressive but didn't see Ronnie doing to much wrong. There was also a frame where the reds were covering each other a bit that turned into a blob fest that Noppon probably should have won.
Looks solid from what I've seen.

I can see Wilson getting in with long pots often enough that he can afford a couple of attempts at a frame. That’s if Ronnie’s safety is loose. If not, and Ronnie settles quick, there’s only one winner.

He goes under the radar more times than not.
Main reason is he doesn't get too often on TV these days.

Xintong v Lisowski would be great to watch. Very similar to the match Xintong had against Thepps which unfortunately we couldn't see.

Lisowski vs Vafaei should be great in itself. I’ve got all 3 in my Think Pink. So I’ve got plenty of interest in that section of the draw.

Ronnie v McGill in the Semis would be nice... Ron getting revenge for the WC. But both need to win their next match, far from garanteed.

lot of younger players left in the tournament who are hungry to win tournaments. Wilson is just one of them. It wont be just about level of play but the will to win.
Ronnie as an old man for sure has to be ready to enter the battle against the guys who could be his kids from an age point of view.
