Impeccable temperament. Wise beyond his years. Etc.
Seen a few cracks in that tonight.

I love it. He's more like a steam engine -> beautifully machined precision (who occasionally blows a gasket!)

Yeah I bet winning a big title then places expectations within yourself which is another thing to deal with.

I agree but the thing is Yan is even more boring to watch. And his AST in this match is 31 seconds so far.

Definitely. It’ll affect every player to a certain extent, some more than others. Just a couple of crazy shot selections that suggest he’s not thinking straight for whatever reason.

ASTs are always slower when you’re struggling so it’s not a surprise that he’s that high.
I don’t find Yan boring to watch because he’s unorthodox.

He is pretty slow in most matches. Usually in the mid to late 20's.

I wouldn't be so sure, I think Allen is a bit of a bogey man for Higgins, he has a very good head to head.

What is Ronnie's problem with Yan? He makes it sound like he's never beaten Higgins. Yan's beaten him in big events, he thrashed John in the Masters final. Ronnie is acting like Yan is some idiot.
