Already, Southern Rail's blistering incompetence is hindering my weekend. Got out of work early to try to catch the early l, fastertrain to Euston, so I could get the early train from Milton Keynes.
Early train cancelled due to a faulty train.

Not sure but there’s a guy on the news arrested for abusing staff at a Croydon Railway Station.

Was he screaming that he could twiddle a better rail service?

Arrived.
A lot of effort to arrive 20 minutes earlier than expected.
Sat in the hotel bar waiting for a burger.
The draught Budweiser is off.

Don't remember my misadventures on Crawley? I waited like 75 minutes in a pub for a burger.

How long do you think it takes a full team of kitchen staff to defecate into a brioche bun?

There was a time when I would've been in the bar until gone midnight the night before snooker. I am currently watching Gogglebox in bed.

First that episode where Ned Flanders goes bankrupt at the Leftorium, then the one where Bart joins Fat Tony's gang.
Another one about to start on Channel 4.

You can tell that this was a last minute move. Nothing really set up at the venue. No merchandise stands. They don't even sell programmes.
I don't know if it was any better at the English Open. But, at a guess, they must've at least had somewhere to put the punditry team.
