This is fun SF, I do enjoy your trips, vicariously.
Try not to blombe anyone, or touch Selby’s bottom… oh wait… he’s already lost.

I'm impressed by your remembering of one, rather trvial, blombe story.

I was thinking of having a big meal in the canteen at work at lunch, as my train from Euston is at 7pm, so I wouldn't be eating in the hotel until gone 8pm.
As it's a flexi-ticket, I'm hoping to get the 6.10pm train, get in a bit earlier. So may book in, drop my stuff in my room then grab dinner and a pint in the hotel.

Will there be a trolley service or dining car on the train?

Possibly, but it's only half an hour between London Euston and Milton Keynes.
It'll actually take me longer to get to Euston from work than it will to get between London and MK.

Update.
I do have a cheese sandwich with me. Which can be eaten here for lunch, or can be taken with me on the train at home time should I desire it.
I think I'll eat in the hotel. But if I miss the 6.10pm train and have to wait 27 minutes to the next one, I might get a McDonalds or something on Euston station.

Nothing happening at work.
I am bored, and want to just get going.

Are you going to give a signal in the audience, so we know it's you?

Apparently, my room has a mini-fridge. And a 32-inch telly.
Quite pleased with the telly, because most hotel rooms the TVs are only tiny.
Pity that I couldn't get more time off, and spend longer in my room today. Oh well.

I haven't bothered bringing my Firestick, so unless they have Eurosport in their rooms, I won't be wataching it.
Could've brought my Tablet, to be fair. I get scrounge Sky Go off my parents.
Thought I'd be watching snooker all weekend anyway.
I'm sure Gogglebox will look good on it.

I've only been in one hotel that had porn channels. It was the first thing they advertised when I turned the TV on.
I suspect that most people get their porn needs from the internet these days.

I just realised, I was going to do a swab test this morning before I went, just to be sure. I completely forgot.
Hey ho. Got no symptoms or anything. Got a couple in my bag. I guess I can take a test tomorrow morning before going into the match with all the people in.

A couple of years ago I went to a junior competition with few others in my BJJ class. Me and a mate had a room to ourselves. And I went and moaned to our instructor that the windows wouldn't open in our room. It turned out that they weren't supposed to open. Several people took the p*ss out of me because I didn't know that.
