McGill could have even won the 13th frame. Balls were in the open after he forced a mistake from Bingham but missed after 6

Few good shots from Kyren but he's ran out of position.

This Robertson performance has been a carbon copy of last years quarter final tbh

More like the Higgins quarter-final from 2 years ago.
Awesome first 2 rounds, spectacular exit in the quarters.

His game doesn't need perfect positional play though...

Yeah, he should be 8-7 up and in the next frame by now. That long red off the baulk cushion at the start of the frame was brilliant, but he did nothing with it.

And of pretty much every time he’s lost since he last reached the one table.

Barring plenty of snookers Kyren will take the lead for the first time.

Is it nerves? The realisation that he’s getting within touching distance? He just goes flat, every single time.

Kinda want this to end 8-8, fresh start bo9 tomorrow. Robbo has been woeful tonight, Kyren seems to have picked it up. Kyren will definitely be the happier if it does, may even be 9-7.

Similar to Ronnie's 5 finals lost this season.
But Neil's record here much worse than Ronnie's season.

Not sure nerves as such but definitely wanting it too much.
You can tell how much he wants to be a multiple world champion.
