3 times Crucible king Mark Williams opens his campaign against debutant Sam Craigie, whilst 2005 champion Shaun Murphy plays veteran Mark Davis, the latter who cameback from 7-2 down in his last qualifying match and still holds the highest break of the tournament, 143.

WN1 Judd Trump has made a strong start, opening a 7-2 lead, and 3 time champion Mark Selby faces Kurt Maflin, in a rematch of their 2015 1st round encounter which ended 10-9 to Selby. 2013 finalist Barry Hawkins holds 6-3 lead over Matthew Selt.

I'm not able to watache the next few days. Have to travel for work :-(

I'm on my way to the airport now and have one of those crazy cabbies who makes you have eyes wide open and hands gripped firmly on the seat. 3 emergency stops so far in the first 5 mins of the journey.
