Disappointing so far.

How do you know, you never watch Selby?
Of course I've watched Selby, I've seen all top players at their best, as have most of the posters around here.
Selby isn't a very talented player
When Selby spanked Ronnie in the 2014 final my respect for him went through the roof. Especially as he had a large deficit.
Beast of a player.
but JB said Selby isn’t very talented... everybody knows JB is the leading authority on such matters.

Got a feeling MJW will beat Higgins. For some reason, Higgins doesn’t do too well against Mark at the Crucible. Similar to his meetings with McManus.
Mark to take the first session 6-2. John to pull back but Mark will hold on to win 13-10

John Higgins has never practised safety play. It’s pure natural ability.
Are you saying you can't learn it? By practicing it?
I remember Angles a few months ago saying he had been watching Ronnie practise, and the last 45 minutes of the session he was practicing figure of 8 safeties round the angles.

Not at all, we know how Reardon helped Ronnie’s safety game.
I’m just saying that you can be naturally talented at safety just as you can at potting or breakbuilding.

He's taken these nicely and had some awkward shots but now in prime position.
