Does anyone have a list of the walk on songs used at this year's world championship? For some years it's been posted on the World Snooker website but I can't find anything yet for this year.
Also, Ricky Walden seemed to have a different song for the two sessions of his first round match.

Judd Trump has used High on life by Martin Garrix feat Boon in the last 2 years so expect him to continue using that but we shall see.

No it's the correct thread. Lisowski's changed his music to an artist who tragically died recently.

Is there a rule against choosing something from the current charts? None of the players ever seem to.

I don't see why there would be. As long as the organisers pay the rights holders it should be fine. And it might be covered by the BBC anyway. I guess most of the players ain't that hip. Or since the choices might have some sentimental value there is a bias to older tracks

Even though current chart music has more listeners than anything else it would still be a minority, especially among the demographic that makes up most of the 32 players. If there were more young players than you might get more chart songs but that would still depend on their music taste.
