Is Selt 32nd because he is the lowest ranked of the qualifiers or is it because he's ranked World Number 32?

World No.32. If the whole draw was set in stone at the start it would look like that.

A lot of the players I hoped would qualify didn't, but the players that did are largely good to watch, so I can't complain. The only disappointments are Carter and Selt, more because I don't like them rather than anything to do with the way they play snooker.

I'm very pleased for Mark Joyce who qualifies for the first time after many years of trying. Congratulations!

Wild, cheers for the thread :-) There’s a typo regarding Ron’s titles, just so you know.

Re: The Crucible Countdown !!!

Stephen Hendry has played 90 matches at the Crucible winning 70

Ronnie O'Sullivan has played 90 Matches at the Crucible winning 68

by breaking off on Saturday Ronnie goes ahead in Matches played and if he reaches the Semis he goes ahead in matches won

I was shocked to see the number of tickets available for this tournament this morning. I booked myself the final semi final session and the first final session on the May weekend.

Can’t wait! A bit of a faff admittedly, but I didn’t think this opportunity would present itself.

They could pay me a million pound to go there and i wouldnt.

Not because of the Virus but because of the Covid Rules and wearing condoms on your face for hours id rather stick pins in my eyes than go through that crap.

Almost all of the players I wanted to qualify didn't, Xintong especially, man that's a bummer. Even when Igor beat Thepchaiya, I found myself rooting for him, but nope. Bingyu and langning, nope. Ursenbacher, nope. Ah well, let's hope it's a good tournament.

Article online this morning quoted Ronnie not wanting fans near him either going in or coming out of crucible because of covid. Having witnessed players been mobbed for autographs appreciate his concerns.
