I do take your point, but MJW had to win 37 frames to win the Pro Series, nine more than Judd and Higgins had to win to win Gibraltar and the Players Champs, for example. Ranker or not, it shouldn’t be discounted.

MJW doesn't count it as a ranker.

And so does Selby by losing the Shoot-Out Final. Go figure...

Your right but there is a different Aura about him than in the past Beating Ronnie over 2 sessions the way he did has given him the belief i believe was lacking before.
