Looks like a lot of the evening play is on BBC4 again next week.

As usual. Better than no coverage at all in the evening, and only red button.

It's not that usual. They only did it for the first time last year.

Don't really mind both but think Slessor is the better player.
slessor seems more solid but I always enjoyed watching highfield play , hope he beats Zhou cos Zhou ruined my accumulator bet

It seemed usual for some reason. Maybe I'm giving BBC more credit than it actually deserves

They would sometimes have an hour on BBC 2, if that's what you're thinking about.
Last year they moved to BBC 4 for the first time and added an extra hour to the alotted time.

Yeah I know they did, for some reason I thought BBC4 coverage was longer than just last year.
But in the evening they usually only stick to the actual match, as they don't have time for features unlike the afternoon session.

If you let your Crucible ruined just because of one player, then you're not enjoying it at all.

Thank buck, I get annoyed by that too.
He’s literally the Champion of Champions!
The World Champion isn’t the World Championship Champion!

If you want to be pedantic about it, he is.
But would be silly to call him that.

Surely if applying equal logic the Champion of Champions should be called the Champion Championship?

Can you image a Crucible first rounder between Smurf-head and Selt-face?
It would surely be the most uninteresting prospect in the history of the game, ever since Captain Snooker laid a grizzly one on Colonel Sir Neville Chamberlain in Jabalpur in 1875.
