Should be a cracker:
https://www.bbc.com/sport/snooker/56966164Jimmy White v Tony Knowles
Lee Walker v Darren Morgan
Igor Figueiredo v John Parrott
Stephen Hendry v Patsy Fagan
Michael Judge v Patrick Wallace
Barry Pinches v Dennis Taylor
David Lilley v Philip Williams
Ken Doherty v Joe Johnson
Igor seems a strong favorite but wouldn't rule out
Walker or
Lilley, possible surprise:
Joe Johnson.

Disappointed Rodney Goggins failed to qualify this year.
I never fully understand the eligibility for this event.
Anyway, Barry Pinches for the win!

Wasn't Goggins wife mixed up in post office scandal, must have affected his performance.

He stopped because it wasn’t the same without his dad.

World Seniors Championship Prediction Contest
Please can a mod put this in the predictions thread?
To enter the contest, please predict the total number of frames you think each participant will win over the duration of the contest. I believe it is best of 5s throughout, so the minimum number of frames someone can win is 0, and the maximum is 12.
After the first round, you can change your predictions for 1 or 2 of the 16 competitors if you wish. After the quarter-finals, you will again have the option to change your prediction, this time only for 1 of the 16 competitors though.
You get 6 points if your prediction is accurate at the end of the contest. 5 points if you are one frame out...
0 points if you are six or more frames out.
Here is the template (put a number from 0-12 next to each player):
Jimmy White
Tony Knowles
Lee Walker
Darren Morgan
Igor Figueiredo
John Parrott
Stephen Hendry
Patsy Fagan
Michael Judge
Patrick Wallace
Barry Pinches
Dennis Taylor
David Lilley
Philip Williams
Ken Doherty
Joe Johnson

Pinkball should do a Prediction League, and include Alan McManus.

Why does Tony Knowels have to face Jimmy in the first round?
It's like the proper world championships all over again, the best draw happening way too soon in the competition.

I thought it was on the Red Button? It was listed as such.
Is it not? I'll have to watch later on the I-Player.

It is also on the red button as well. I'm wataching on Sky channel 981, only just realised that was a BBC red button channel, if only I knew that during the world championship.
