buck sake is he serious?
He did say “Okay it’s the World Championship,” as well. I think he got his words mixed up, is it 23 months apart from the Worlds?
I assumed he meant won one in 23 months.

Ronnie, you gave up before the 1st frame was even played. 4th final loss. Dont know how he will cope if he reaches a 5th one?
Maybe you can give him a motivational speech?

I don't mind if he wins one every 23 months, if it's the World Title!

And even the lower players like brown are beating him now as well
What a strange thing to say. Do you think he’ll never win another tournament?

Ronnie seems to be do better at the Worlds going in as an underdog. He's doing his best to get this status
In all seriousness, this could work to his favour as the pressure could have been overwhelming like in 2019 after a superb season and we know how that ended...

Absolutely rubbish performance from Ronnie. Was it 80% or even lower pot success?
No doubt though, if Higgins plays like this even Trump will have massive problems the next time they meet.

To be honest, Ronnie hasn't played well against Ding and Hawkins neither. He fought his way through although he obviously played a bit better than he did today. He only hit top form against Jack but he wasn't under any real pressure there.

Fantastic stuff from John all week and great to see him back in the winner's enclosure at the age of 45.
Ronnie really needs to be prepared to engage in more safety battles to get over the line in these finals

It’s not a given, and at his age he could easily never win another tournament

Certainly if you put money on Ronnie pre-tournament these days, you wouldn't be overly confident of a return.

ROS' ranking final percentage has taken quiet a bit of a dive after these 4 losses, it was at an impeccable 70% after Worlds 2020, now it's 65%, getting close to 64%

There's a very good chance that every single player on the circuit's last win could be their last win. That's not insight, that's stating the obvious, LMAO

Ronnie was barely a factor in his recent finals. It's very concerning.

its a strange season for Ronnie. He's getting to finals so he must be doing something right but he has spells in matches where he struggles to even pot a few balls and looks like he wants to go home. And the slow starts obviously which have been mentioned a lot. Makes a huge difference at this level because it allows opponents to settle in quickly.

Ronnie's in ok form and with that he can beat almost anyone on tour. His form just isn't good enough to beat the very best right now. It's that simple really.

He shouldn't have reached the Scottish final he was dreadful there but should've won the Welsh, Welsh was the best and most consistent form he's shown this entire season

Yes there is no doubt the Brown defeat was the worst. I definitely expected him to trash Brown. All the other matches, especially the one in the Scottish you knew his level wasnt gonna be good enough.
Good to see you back here btw.
