Monday 15th ~ Sunday 21st of February at The Celtic Manor Resort, Newport

Last 32 and all the Big Guns got through apart from Ding Junhui who fell to compatriot Pang Junxu.

John Higgins in a late night battle with Ben Woollaston was close to following him out having needed a Snooker in the decider but true to form he got it and booked his spot in this Round.

Big day on Thursday at a Home Nation event who will book their spot in the last 16?

A win for either Perry or McGill will see Zhao Xintong miss out on the players championship. If both win then Jamie Jones drops out too.

Donaldson has three centuries so far this week. Seems to be playing well. Maybe he should lock himself out his hotel room more often.

Plenty a good matches today. <cool>


I,ve gotta Dentist appt at 14.00, >-( so i,ll be tellin her to get the finger out n clean n polish the few teeth i have left in quickfire time so i can see the mighty Wizard of Wishaw in action. :-D Really lookin forward to watchin him play against Mr :grrr: angry.

I said in Sept last year,that i would,nt root for Gouldy again,as he,s beaten John the last 4 times they,ve played >-( ,But i,ve just looked at the draw and seen he,s playin The Ronster,so,i,ve decided to change my mind and give him a rooooot again,COMMMMMME ONNNNNNN GOULDY!!!!. :-D

Willo has just put Perry out, and Hawkins is currently 3-2 up on Ants, so Zhao is still clinging on <ok>

Yes. Though compatriot Yan Bingtao might scupper him yet. He is one of four who could move ahead if they survive to tomorrow. The others being Murphy, Ford and Vafaei.
