He probably cares less than people on here do.
In his losers's speech he was pretty much inferring that he wouldn't count this as a ranking final loss. Rest of the world will though.
I wonder why he’d want to think such a thing as that

Haha that cracked me when he said that. I think he even reiterated for 1000th time this is not supposed to be a ranker.

Well he can think what he likes can't he but the record has gone...
Sorry Selbs. It has been a ride.
Also, it's not that good a record. 12 final wins in a row, now that would be impressive.

What about the reverse?
If he had won, would he consider to have broken the record?

In that interview I got the impression he'd forgotten it would count. He didn't look happy when Goldstein brought it up. Still, equalling a record is pretty impressive too.

It always amazed me every time the commentary team would say the Shootout can lead to so many things.
Well lets ask Michael Georgiou on his thoughts about this.....oh yeah. No longer on the tour

Can, not guaranteed to. He would have been off the tour earlier otherwise.

I mean sure you can get from the BBC in White City to Milton Keynes in about an hour ten so logistically possible.
BBC isn’t in White City anymore, television centre is now converted to flats. Don’t know where they record SK now. A lot of the beeb went to Salford; can you get from there to MK easily? I doubt it
It's done in Clapham. Cooking shows are often done in purpose built studio, since a normal one won't be kitted properly with gas or other specialist equipment.
in addition to the above, it has come to my attention that channel four's
sunday brunch has been recorded in television centre since january 2019.
