Jimmy is coming into form just at the right time. This could be his year.

It should improve his "all time ranking".

Will be interesting to see what kind of standard Higgins will produce with his new technique at the TC. If its the PC level he will win the tournament.

Judd beats Pinches 2-0, his final 3 matches will be a little tougher compared to the ones he has had so far today.

Who: once Zhou Yuelong is knocked out of, can no longer earn enough points to usurp Hawkins from, and/or the WST Pro Series completes. So Saturday at the earliest, no later than Sunday.

Judd Trump beats Jamie Jones 2-0, probably needs to win 1 of his remaining 2 matches to ensure qualification.

Judd Trump beats Ryan Day 2-0 so that's 6 wins out of 6 so surely should be enough for him to go through. I've not really paid much attention to the other results.

I think Jimmy needs to win 2-0 and hope Hallworth beats day 2-1. Jimmy might be able to qualify if he wins 2-1 also. Because he has won the most frames as there is four players tied on 12 points. And all playing each other. Either way Jimmy needs to win before anything.

All matches are played as best of three frames, and players are ranked, using the following criteria:
Matches won (Points scored)
Frame difference
Head-to-head match(es)[a]
Highest break
Which means Jimmy needs to win against Jamie jones 2-0 and hallworth to beat Ryan day 2-1. Only way Jimmy can finish 2nd.

Judd loses his last match 2-0 to Vafaei. Didn't matter as Judd already through. Interesting to see who will join him.

Ryan Day finishes 2nd in the group with 15 points so both him and Judd Trump advance to the next phase.

He certainly won't. He won't ever have a tournament like that again, it happens once or twice in your career at most.
He might still win more tournaments, but he certainly won't dominate them like he did there, at least not the whole tournament.

With the £2000 earned by Jimmy here, he is #83 in ranking for the Crucible.
Marco Fu and Mei Xiwen (likely) withdrawals makes him seed #1 for the 1st round of Qualifiers.
PS : Cahill and O. Lines can still pass him.

no doubt he wont win a tournament in that kind of fashion again. To beat opponents by that scoreline you also need them to underperform. But I can see Higgins play to a decent standard consistently and if he does he'll be tough to beat in multi session matches.
