Does your body not ache from sitting still for so long?
That would put me off attending matches above a best of 9
Depends.
Some venues are more comfortable than others. I have had a sore bottom before. (From all the sitting.)
Crucible is evil for snake hiss breaks.
One time, I left The Crucible during mid-session, legged it back to my hotel room, had a snake hiss and was back in my seat for start of the frame.

It's always very sporting of Mark to spot his opponent a 2-0 lead.

SF, did you ever watch snooker when it was on at the Fairfield Halls? (Nations Cup, I think it was)

Seema can't say his surname correctly, I think that's also a serious point of ridicule

Maguire for some reason is playing the way Selby wants him to play. I was expecting Mags to go for his shots, trying to be agressive but he's trying to outsafety Selby. Did well and work in the first two frames but in the long run it wont as you can see.

And that's what Robertson did wrong at the worlds. He did the right thing his last 3 matches against Selby and it worked for him.
Very few players can match Selby in the safety department over so many frames.

It surprises me that Steve Davis "only" won 3 Masters titles. At least he's won all of his 3 Mastersfinals but still a little bit slim his record given how much he's won.

He's said he never did enjoy that much the immense Conference Center and the atmosphere, he was similar to John Higgins who only won it twice.

And the third came out of the blue in 97. During his dominance, he came up short at Wembley frequently. Ironically perhaps, he dominated the B&H Irish Masters during this time (7 times winner, twice runner-up)

Yeah probably true. I guess the longer format tournaments like World and UK (old format) also suited him a lot more.

The arena at Goffs was smaller and more like The Crucible with the one table setup. I guess it suited Davis a lot more.

One of his finest Snooker moments, beating Ronnie 10-8 after being 8-4 down.
