Monday 16th - Sunday 22nd of November at The Marshal Arena, Milton Keynes

Down to the Semi-Finals, and 2 time defending champion Judd Trump is two matches away from once again retaining his title and the Alex Higgins Trophy. He plays David Grace, who returned to the pro tour via Q School and now is into his 2nd ranking event semi-final, his first coming at the 2015 UK Champs.

In the other semi-final it's Ali Carter up against world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan, their most recent meeting was of course the one in 2018 with a shoulder barge involved at the World Champs and tension all around, with Carter finally beating his nemesis O'Sullivan after 17 failed attempts.

Will we once again for the 3rd consecutive year see Trump and O'Sullivan contest the final match, or will there be an upset by Grace and Carter?

DRAW

Semi-Finals

Judd Trump v David Grace Trump leads 3-0

Ali Carter v Ronnie O'Sullivan O'Sullivan leads 16-2

It would be one of the biggest upsets in recent years if Grace managed to win, not only because he's playing Trump but also because this is a Best of 11 match.

Judd should win confortably

And why not?

All of Judd Trump matches have been in the afternoons so far with the ecception of the last 16 where every match was in the evening so perhaps they thought they should give him an opportunity to play an evening match for a change.
