And so its many congratulations to SteveJJ WC who becomes the 10th individual winner of the Snooker Island World Championship Prediction Contest. He becomes eligible to have the letters WC added to his name before he endeavours to be the first to make a successful defence of the contest in 12 months time.
Many thanks to all for their entries this year and in particularly thanks to Eraserhead for his work behind the scenes on this prediction contest
I'd be interested to know what people's feedback on the format for the contest is. The format generally works well and has done for the past ten years (2009 was the first contest with this format - the only changes being that instead of seeding back then we based it on Betfred's odds with favourite, underdog and split odds). Other than that the only changes we've made is to add the bonus points for the centuries and highest break.
What are peoples thoughts? Would you like to see any changes to the contest or a new format altogether?
Many thanks all
PL
