Personally, I feel each session should have its own deadline. I don't see why all matches today had the 10am deadline when some were starting at 2.30 and 7pm.

Yeah I also found that very strange. I know when I'm running the contests I always have a deadline for each session, no matter how many they are, like at the Welsh Open.
Anyway, my start here was like last year, I'm honestly not hoping for much as I never seem to do well at Worlds Predicts. Even a Top 10 would be nice

The 10am Deadline was brought in for the first round to provide more opportunity and time for predictions to be made - previously the World Championship had a format where all 16 first round matches had the deadline of 10am on the opening Saturday whereas since 2014 and the draw being made on Thursday just before the tournament starts. Its more straight forward than having 31 separate templates for each and every individual match.
From the Second Round onwards as usual - each of the fifteen matches from that point will have their own deadline

Well you're in equal 4th at the minute.
Seperate for each session?

So did I. And I stand by that prediction. Walden is a choke artist.

If Ricky wasn't my favourite I would have gone 10-8 or 10-9 Dott

Those "clowns" are most probably right in picking him. I didnt, but maybe should have gone for him.
9-7 Dotty now.

Walden losing was the first big blow of the contest. I noticed quite a few people picked McGill as well, so that could be another blow coming up.

Did you accept my slightly delayed prediction for the Robbo v Jones match?

How the hell does this guy SlowJoe always predict so well? Sickening.

PLTHEREF
Paddy could you please explain the numbering system in the table, just so that we all know - for instance what does 5-2 mean...?
I am assuming it is 5 correct and 2 were exactly correct scorelines too, however no-where does it say this.
Thankyou.

I had picked Maguire to beat McGill but on the other hand I was one of the "clowns" who picked Dott over Walden, so it was not a bad start overall.
