Could have picked Mike Dunn or Alfie Burden last year. Just the way things are.

Though burden ended up in q school despite his 'retirement'. And look to be trying again this year.

Good choice. You do know Mark Allen is taking a long break from snooker? Also, I think Mark eats about 5 animals every day.

Taking a big gamble on Marco this year, if he plays he's great value for group 14 but he might stay hold up in Hong Kong all year.

Also Kacper Filipiak and Mei Xiwen. Plus several players who will need to re-qualify through Q School. It would seem more prudent to wait for a month to see who's actually on the tour next season!

I've dropped a right clanger with Kacper! Is that a pink dildo rearing it's ugly head?

I seriously considered him but was unsure on the travel and ideally wanted to go for players who are likely to play in everything.

I think we're the only two who haven't opted for Trump in Group One!

It's unlikely a group 14 player will score points anyway, so it feels like a calculated risk.

Trump is the obvious choice for group one, but I have a feeling he might drop off a bit this year with the pressure to defend a lot of points. Ronnie is another good choice, but he does pick and choose. Anyway, I'm hoping we'll have a more varied season in terms of winners which should make group one not too significant.
