I would contribute to the pot, but my contract with WST, as with the players themselves, prevents me from gambling with money any sort of match. It's totally fine for fun purposes like I've done in my time with SI, but not with money involved. I wish all of you the best of luck, and may the best man win. If it happens to be me I will resign any sort of prize money, and you can sort it out between yourselves who gets the money.

So just so we're crystal clear on this, André is still in the game but will not contribute to any prize fund, nor will he make any monetary gain of any kind should he finish in the prize money. That is his commitment as a snooker referee, and I don't think that could be any fairer on his part.

While obviously nowhere near as serious for me, I will also not be accepting any funds should I finish in the prize money, nor will I be contributing to the prize pot. The prize pot has been set up independently of me, an outside game if you will, although it's a hugely generous and much-appreciated venture.

There will never be an entry fee to take part in Think Pink, it'll always be free to enter, and I will never gain a penny from it personally. If I finish in the money, I have requested that my share be donated to Pieta House, and Irish suicide- and self-harm-prevention charity.

And in the remote chance I win the event, I could donate the money to a charity of my choosing. But lots and lots and lots of Snooker need to happen before then.

Yes, we do. Why do you ask?

Just random fact interest of the nerdy kind. If I'm ever talking to a depressed Irishman on-line I suppose it'd be useful to recommend them in the correct direction for their country should that need ever arise.
