Out of interest, do we know how many people who are trying to qualify for The Crucible this year won't have played in months?

Must be 70+

I'd say the rust is as big a factor as the best of elevens.

Tgough the best of elevens is a real shame.

Tom Gough never did like BO11's

Unlike Bob Ungke who thrives on them.

Can you not post the draw when it finally comes in? My stream is slow, and I don't want to know yet.

Luo Honghao, Lu Ning and Tian Pengfei will go directly to the Hilton Hotel in Sheffield, where they have installed 5 practice tables inside the 'bubble' for the World Championship qualifiers.

Ding Junhui has set up his own training centre with several tables, and will be joined by Luo and Tian when they have finished their qualifiers. For the moment though, Ding will be there on his own in quarantine.

He'll be bored.

D'you think we could get him on the Island? :chin:

I don't know, man.

I can think of worse things that two get peace and quiet at home for a couple of weeks.

Wenbo vs Brecel surely the pick of those.

Stevens vs Walden could be decent. Both very fluent if they play their best game. That is a big if, though.

It wouldn't amaze me if Stevens bungked it before he got to Judgement Day.

True. Nothing is a shock with him. Bags of talent, but maybe not enough fortitude.

I assume it will be. There are 32 new entries when the higher ranked players enter the qualifiers so assuming that they will be paired with 17th seed going with 48th for the final round.

Not sure what will happen with the previous rounds, but I'm guessing they will be drawn.
