Selby has played awfully over both sessions of his match against Brown. He was very fortunate that he drew one of the weakest qualifiers who also played awfully. That being said, which of the other qualifiers do you think would have beaten Selby?

Where is the option for none of them?
You miss the point. Selby has an innate ability to switch up the gears when threatened. He would have beaten a couple of them 10-9, a few 10-8, the majority 10-7, a couple of them 10-6 and Thepchaiya 10-3.

He'd have lost to about half of them, if not most of them.

Some people think it’s still 2017.

If Selby had played another qualifier everything would have been different. There is no point in talking about these scenarios that didn't happen.
I assume all you doubters will be making fortunes backing Saengkham to beat Selby?!!

Selby has just beaten the best of the qualifiers. Maybe Maflin will beat him in the final?!!!
Not a chance.
