Of course, I am not one usually involved in this sort of thing, but might I suggest Igor Figueiredo? I took note of him in the list of entrants. Like myself, he is far, far, far from the epicenter of snooker with little outside support for his passion so only has the fire in his belly to carry him. I doubt there are any official records of this, but I am quite certain that he has the highest tournament break ever compiled on American soil with a 146 at the Pan American Championship in Houston, Texas, February 2019. He showed great character when he completely misplayed the final Red to position on Black leaving himself smack between Pink and Black. After a chuckle at his stupidly played stroke, he proceeded to pot Pink into the Green pocket perfectly positioning for the clearance.

Under different conditions, Igor might have been a top player. Recognition is in order for him sticking it out despite having a whelk's chance in a supernova going very far in the game. It would be great for him to have some fans behind him and for him to make his mark this year.
