Last players up in action in round 1 of the televised stages will be debutants Jamie Clarke and Alexander Ursenbacher, playing seeded players Mark Allen and Barry Hawkins, respectively.

Thailand's Noppon Saengkham holds a surprising 6-3 lead over 2005 champion Shaun Murphy, whilst there's no more than 1 frame between debutant Jordan Brown and 3 time champion Mark Selby.

Also in action in their first session is Martin Gould, seeking a return to form after threatening retirement if he dropped off the tour, up against newly crowned Tour Championship winner Stephen Maguire.
