I can understand where Iranu is coming from TBH. I said something to the same effect the last time Wild had a meltdown and threatened to have the forum shut down, and was told by a couple of people to shut up and tow the line.

I think this is for the better, you will enjoy this site and the snooker more now. I think being a mod is a bit like being a politician, no one should be in power for too long.

I Was ending up baby sitting children rather than Watching the Snooker just had enough.


i wont tell roland about my decision because he will wind up this site and i don't want to be responsible for that so ill still be a mod of sorts but wont be modding.

It's not that I don't appreciate everything Wild has done for the forum. I obviously do.

I just think it would be better for everyone, Wild especially, if he took a step back from his moderating duties as it's clearly something that is dragging him down mentally and stopping him from enjoying his time here.

And maybe then he won't keep threatening to close us all down.

yeah just seen the stats as well. must have been a incredible performance. He even made a 67 and 97 before the 4 consecutive centuries.

I always rated Gary Wilson as a good player. He has a good temperament. Just doesnt have the consistency to play well on a regular basis.

Yeah you can edit threads, open them, that sort of thing as a mod.

However, if you feel you had enough of "babysitting" others (as you call it), then leave it up to me and Dan.

I think an additional two or three would be ideal. As I’ve said before, you, Andre and Wild always seem to be spreading yourselves pretty thinly and while I don’t appreciate Wild’s attitude last night, I’m sure the ‘overwork’ contributed to it and I know you’ve said similar in the past.

As Johnny said in the prediction thread, I think Happy Camper would be a good mod. Snookerfan would be too, I think, much as he denies it!
