What a frame that was. Went right down to the black. Lu Ning wins the frame.
3-3

What an end to the sixth frame between Higgins and Lu! Lu gets a snooker on the blue, pots it and the pink, and misses a tricky black.
The black’s left dead on the cushion a couple of inches from the corner pocket with the white up towards the yellow pocket.
Higgins goes for the pot... and misses the black completely, forfeiting the frame!

In Higgins’ defence he basically had to hit it as thin as he could in order to pot it rather than leaving it over the hole. It looked stupid but I can see why it happened.

So after beating Ronnie, Dale loses 5-3 to Fergal O'Brien. Typical.

Higgins wins the decider. The most unsurprising thing in the history of Snooker.

Can't decide whether to watch Trump or Figueiredo this evening. I'd rather watch Craigie than Carter so that'll probably swing it for me in the end.

Too typical.
But Dale must feel like he won the tournament, after beating Ronnie mere 27 years after their first meeting.

Judd edges Craigie in the decider, while Stuart Carrington with his good all-round game beat Yan Bingtao comfortably (5-1). I have a feeling that Carrington will have a good run in this tourney.

Dale was blinded by Fergal's sexiness.

With his 104 against Zhang Yang, Thepchaiya Un-Nooh became the 69th player to make 100 centuries. Nice!

According to
https://snookerinfo.webs.com/100centuries, Mark Joyce have 99.
Jamie Jones 98, but I won't bet on him...
