Murphy must be a very relieved man. It would have been a massive body blow had he lost his eight final in a row, especially in a sick manner.

Murphy is a complete sausage head, but I'd still rather see him winning titles than the likes of Selby.

Would be typical for Shaun to lose now though.

That pot to win the match.
Not the biggest Smurph fan but would like to see him in the mix with a confidence boost.

What a pot to win it. Expected him to miss that. Surprised Williams conceded but I guess there was too much to do.

Glad he got that.
Would like Bingham and Robertson to win a ranker soon too.

Murphy wins his 8th ranking title by avoiding an 8th final loss in a row.
Destiny.

Hopefully Murphy's purple patch will come to an end soon. While he plays the game the right way, I don't think I could stand watching him winning more titles this season. Hopefully one of the big guns will put him in his place soon.

I’m pretty gutted about that after how MJW came back.
An inch more pace on that snooker attempt...

Better than last year's final, much better in fact.
Wild will disagree.

I said Murphy would win, and he did.
You also said Ronnie would lose his last matches and he won the tournament.
