Monday 23rd- Sunday 29th of September at Guangzhou Tianhe Sports Centre,Guangzhou,China

There are 6 Chinese players left in the tournament but there is no Ding Junhui he lost to compatriot Zhao Xintong and has lost the Chinese no 1 tag to Yan Bingtao as a consequensas Yan heads in to the top 16 and Ding heads out of the top 16. Hes been out before and bounced back can he do it again?

Defending Champion Mark Selby, World Champion Judd Trump, John Higgins, Neil Robertson, Shaun Murphy, Mark Williams, Mark Allen, Kyren Wilson and Jack Lisowski still there making it a high quality field.

Not really.

That has a lot of Championship League in it which doesnt tell the real truth.

Selby leads 6-3 without the CL.

From the bits I've watched Selby seems to be in great touch, but lets see if he can remain consistent, something that's been lacking in his game.

Ding once again disappoints, and now out of Top 16 again like 3 years ago. When that happened he reached a World Final, so let's hope he knuckles down and gets better results.

At first i thought Wildey had mistyped.

But As Andre wrote,.....

,..."That has a lot of Championship League in it which doesnt tell the real truth."

"Selby leads 6-3 without the CL".

I,ve never watched any of the sh***y CL LIVE and i never will.

I only watched the *147*,s, which were made,on YouTube, which included Dave Gilberts, when he made the magical 147th *147*. <laugh>

Selby decided to be rubbish 8 times against Gould.

Strange h2h record. Just noticed that now.

You'd have thought Selby would be pretty dominant against someone like Gould.

So, I am at work and all the systems are down. Making every part of my job impossible.

Just when I'm supposed to be doing three people's jobs today.

The computer department will be with me 'shortly'.

Very poor match from Zhou. Reminded me of his performance against Ronnie at the UK last year.

With Zhou you can already see in the first frame how the match is going. He's a player who gives up so easily.
