BetVictor European Masters Qualifying !!!!!

Tuesday 17th - Thursday 19th of December at The Barnsley Metrodome

Christmas is fast approaching but Snooker players have a lot of work to be done before tucking in to their Christmas Dinner and rip open those presents delivered by Father Hearn.

At the End of the Week its the German Masters but first its the European Open in Austria that takes their Interest.

5 Main tour players headed by Ronnie O'Sullivan has not entered but all the winners of recent tournaments are there Mark Selby, Ding Junhui, Neil Robertson, Judd Trump and Shaun Murphy.

These European Events even Defending Champion has to qualify so Jimmy Robertson is hoping he can get on that plane.

Who Qualifies and get in to the Christmas Spirit looking forward to a trip to Austria?

Yes, seems like the structure is exactly the same for the Austrian Masters and the German Masters. I guess neither wants to be inferior to the other.

Another disappointing result for Anthony MacGill, as he loses 5-4 to Mitchell Mann.

James Cahill beats Chang Binguy 5-4 on the final black, after trailing 3-4. Jackson Page also recorded a good win over Jamie O'Neill on the final black with the same scoreline as well in the decider (67-63).

Cahill got 2 snookers in that final frame, was 40 behind with 1 red left. But he's a veteran (24 next week) compared to the inexperienced Chang!

He did OK, but Carter is very tough. Zhang has improved, but most likely will be thrown overboard in April. Let's hope he at least gets to play in the World Championship qualifiers once!
