If that's the case, that's a disgrace.

This really was abysmal. With that format couldn´t even anticipate anything even half-decent. But now Mark King won it playing absolute sh1te. Hasn´t seen anything that much rubbish since the towards the end of the last season match Kyren vs Jimmy White, where both of them played absolute sh1te also. Obviously almost of all them still can play almost flawless snooker, but it didn´t happened now. 2018 final Kyren vs Ebdon also was absolute rubbish, Peter throwing it away.
And Murphy is almost always injured. Playing or not. That´s strange as he can fly while he plays. Most of them can´t. They do talk about it, yes, but just can´t. 15 years ago perhaps, yes. But that was then.
Still probably a good show, a something Germany deserved to have. And no kidding at all. Even when the standards are about to bobsleigh, it can still can be a good show, a something the crowd can appreciate.
And glad they still handled the title to Mark King. Handling the title to winner always means the winner is glad and won´t be doing anything daft for a while. That´s really the great thing about the sport!
Still heavily rely and to trust that they can deal with anything lol. In Germany lol.
Not interested about the money of they are or Ronnie O´Sullivan is having but the fan base of his. Me, still eyeing the people while obviously should appreciate something else...

More seriously looks like a race between two players to pot all the balls.

until 12th of August when the draw came out World Snooker listed the venue as Unknown and even as the event was aproaching it was unknown on Live Scoring. nobody knows the price money even today 2 days after the tournament finished so making plans with that kind of scetchy itenery was not easy if people were going to make the trip to germany and the final was listed to be played at 8pm CET even that was changed on the day to 7pm CET.
So it was very badly run all round.

Tickets were available well in advance from the promoter and they even had a deal with a local hotel with special rates. I don't know why World Snooker didn't update their information but it was always going to be in the Stadthalle in Fuerth. The marketing seems to have been mostly aimed at the German market, probably since not many English would bother with the trip for a minor tournament. The event apparently sold out in advance so they must have been doing something right? I guess we'll see if and how it returns next year.

World Snooker are crap at that sort of thing. When the English Open was in Barnsley, they were saying it was in Manchester on their site 48 hours before tickets went on sale.
