Ronnie says him, Robbo or trump should win WC, agree with that.

As great as a tournament this has been, the final really did feel subdued. I'm biased but it's hard to top the ending the players champs had.

I respect Robertson but I think Ronnie is too strong for him over these longer matches. Lets be honest Ronnie not close to his best and yet he was first in in like 95% of the frames. If there's a reason this match has been this close its because of some poor misses from ROS while he was in.
Trump is the only player atm who can probably match Ronnie. Higgins and Selby are the others but probably not with their current form.

Nice turnaround for Ronnie, considering how much of a DECLINE his career was in after the Masters final.

More of the same as this afternoon but Ronnie probably took his chances better.

This was very impressive. After that epic war against Judd, to still have the energy to beat Robbo in the final... Just amazing. He's the best. 43 years old he is.

I don't think Ronnie really believed Neil would take his chances and beat him and he seemed to take his foot off the gas a bit and do just enough to win.
Strange match in the end.

Very soon the only statistic where he won't be above everyone else who has ever played the game is World Championship titles. But then again, neither Ray Reardon, Steve Davis or Stephen Hendry hold the record there.
I think it's now safe to say he is the greatest player of all time.

This was a sigh of relief more than anything else. Even though Ronnie won I agree with Holden, the match vs Judd was the most hyped and emotional Ronnie and pretty clear the month or so break is coming at the right time just before the Crucible. He's dominated March.

I hope he does put some effort into Sheffield this year. He's got a great chance if he can go through the hard work.

The match against Judd felt bigger and was higher quality.

Neil still hasnt beaten him in a long match. As long as thats the case Ronnie will always feel less pressure against him than he'd against someone like Trump.
Saying that they could easily meet at the Crucible. Could be in the quarters already. And I think Robertson will be fired up in that match.
