Tuesday 19th - Sunday 24th of March at Venue Cymru, Llandudno, North Wales In a repeat of the Players Championship final earlier this month Ronnie O'Sullivan will play Neil Robertson this time over 25 frames.
Neil Robertson overcame Mark Allen impressivly. Allen faught back from 6-3 down to level at 6-6 only for Robertson to step it up with a burst of 4 frames to take the spoils 10-6.
As for Ronnie O'Sullivan he had to beat a few demons having sucumbed to Trump twice this season in Finals. But boy did he ever in what has been described as one of the Greatest matches ever Ronnie winning 10-9..
Who will rock the seaside of Llandudno over 3 sessions and take the inaugral Tour Championship?
DRAWFinal
Neil Robertson v Ronnie O'SullivanHEAD TO HEAD
Overall: O'Sullivan leads 16-8
Main Tournaments: O'Sullivan leads 11-6

Would have been nice to see a Ronnie-Selby final instead of a repeat of 2 weeks ago, but a Ronnie-Robertson rematch isn't a bad outcome

Really wish my brother didn't come round with another bottle of wine. Actually I'm glad, had a good night, even better I can lie in until lunch.

Really looking forward to Ronnie Robbo final, hoping it's a good one. We've been lucky to have some really good matches in this tourney, hope the best is yet to come.

So the 2 players who recovered from 6-2 down in their previous matches meet here in the Final. And both also won on the very last ball remember.
Fine margins, could easily have been Trump v Selby in the Final.

ROS cant possibly play any better than what he did at the Players Champs.
I reckon this match will be similar to his Shanghai Final, he won that 11-9 with a similar format. As long as he wins its all good.

Hope Robbo take it to him, but...can only see one winner. Ronnie's last run out before Sheffield.

Technically whoever wins, there'll only be one winner.

Suppose it’s better having the first day of the final only have one session, so you’re not left with a very one sided session monday. Should be interesting final. I don’t think Robbo’s as dangerous as Trump right now, I don’t see Ronnie going four frames down.

With Robertson its very noticeable that he matches up very well to the likes of Selby or Higgins but not so much to ROS or Trump.
H2H (main tournament):
vs ROS: 6:11 , 0:4 in multi session matches
vs Trump: 5:8 , 1:4 in multi session matches
vs Selby 9:6 , 3:2 in multi session matches
vs Higgins 7:2 (!), 1:1 in multi session matches

Look at this pattern
Masters Final
Trump - O'Sullivan 10-4
Tour Championship Semi-Final
Trump - O'Sullivan 9-10
Players Championship Final
O'Sullivan - Robertson 10-4
What has to happen now?

Possible subplot: Ronnie wins on Sunday, taking number one spot. Selby snatches it back in China. Ronnie gets it back at the Crucible.

Here's an even better one: ROS wins this and the WC, and Selbo loses in the first round at the China Champs and the WC.

Have the feeling that Selby will have a good run at the WC. Yes, he hasnt won many games in recent time but its not like he's been playing utter terrible.
Robertson for example has beaten him a few times while Selby played very well. A strong Trump beat him twice. And that match in NI against ROS was a very high standard match as well.
Someone will have to scrape him off the table to beat him over that long distance. Pretty sure about that.

Off home after a disappointing week in Llandudno. Slowly getting a bit of form back. Would be nice to time it right for Sheffield. Best of luck to @nr147 and @ronnieo147 in the final. Should be a classic. Thanks to @BarryHearn for this tour champs... proper event!! Keep it up
