I very rarely like arrogant sportspeople. I know Messi's not the worst in that department, but he's certainly had his moments. And I hate Barcelona.
Cristiano Ronaldo is in the Top 5 of most obnoxious, arrogant, self-centered douchebags football has seen. I really don't think hhat even needs explaining.
It's a common misconception that you have to be unpleasant to be great.

Thanks for answering. I guess when you're good and successful at something, it's only natural to develop abit of an ego. I agree with you about Ronaldo certainly, whilst Messi has managed to retain a modicum of humility despite his success.
They both need to pay their bloody taxes though, that's for sure.
