Even though the ball wasn’t actually spotted correctly?
It was.
Ronnie just bullying the ref.

Robbo had one proper chance when he missed the yellow.
The rest has been vintage Ronnie, Selby/Higgins like.

Ahhhh. I thought the ref had admitted it wasn’t spotted correctly when he said “it goes now”.
Always something with O’Sullivan lol

The black wasnt spotted correctly at first on two occasions. After Ronnie said that he should respot it then it was spotted correctly.

He had one in the first frame too. Went in-off on the blue.

Camilleri should let O'Sullivan spot his own colours and call the scores himself.

Just seen the vid evidence that the useless ref had it nowhere near the spot originally. Ronnie's complaint was legitimate.

They were discussing it in the studio just now with Foulds and Hendry. Cumilerri was definitely in the wrong there, Hendry certainly thinks so.

Big difference in the spotting by Candelabra, but it looked like it went in both cases.

If Ronnie goes 9-0 this afternoon, will it be a false lead?
Will MDG still make Robertson favourite?

well looks like ROS was right.
Like Hendry said. Whether ROS had to react the way he did is a different story but its a fact that Camilleri didnt spot the black correctly.

I'll give Ronnie the benefit of the doubt this time.
BUT he shouldnt act like a child when they want an ice cream and arent given one. Just continue with play.

Looks like Ronnie was right based on the replay but could be a bit nicer about it.
Robbo to come back now? Hope so.

Maybe.
It was an important shot though and Ronnie knew how critical it was to get a good start in the match, so I can understand Ronnie's frustrations abit when there is an error like that from the ref.

Ronnie lost the Masters Final heavily.
Nothing better than coming to your next Final and hammering your opponent.

He's got every right to complain. Mistakes like this can sway frames and matches.

Anything below 7:2 would be a big disappointment now. Just missed a sitter though.

A player has to play at the referee's pace. If Camilleri is rushing his spotting then he needs to slow down and remind O'Sullivan that he is in charge.
