Good win for Ronnie, but will need to up it significantly if he wants to beat Judd Trump this week.

Ronnie relied on Highins missing more than creating his own chances. Will have to improve to win this.

I think Allen will cause him some problems in the semis as well.

He's still scoring pretty well. He just needs to cut out the unforced errors in his game, he makes to many silly mistakes.

Allen will hammer him on this performance. Should he come through that then he’s gonna get bucked in the Final

to sum up the match. Ronnie looked good in the balls. As he usually does. But safety game, long game pretty mediocre.
Trump would be the biggest hurdle (assuming they'll meet in the final). Allen and Robertson are beatable.

Allen looks focused again.
He'll cause Ronnie many problems O agree. Plus he isnt the sort to crumble against him.

With today's win, Ronnie moves ahead of Selby into 4th place on this season's Ranking Points™ list, which means that the 4 remaining players in this event are also the top 4 on the season list.

There you see it. When Ronnie plays Higgins he gives a normal and proper interview after the match.

I think he would have been normal and proper if he had played Selby too

Jill Douglas asks if Trump can be as good as Higgins or Hendry. Ronnie did well to not laugh there.
