He could play Mark King and Ronnie in the semi?

All the top players got through apart from Trump, Williams and Wilson.

Alex is rarely happy about a line up. Tough man to please!

We run the risk of expecting the ITV style "invitational" ranking event becoming the norm.

All events can't be top name only.

"It's nice not to make centuries too," O'Sullivan told BBC Wales.

"Sometimes it's nice to know you can so you don't have to make them.

"It (1,000th century) is going to have to wait a while, I've got something special planned.

"I haven't really!" he later joked.

That's cleared that up then.

Mate, I've still got three or four pounds to drop from the 12ibs I put on over Christmas. Going away to watch snooker, drink and beer and eat fry ups isn't going to help.

I'm doing it again for Preston, as well.

All booked now.

I'll get back to eating boring food an exercising when my life gets a bit less busy. (ETA the end of May.)
