Yup, Goudong seems to have lost the plot.

Goudong's a player I'd like to see win a racker but just don't see it happening.
Also what's happened to Wenbo? Not been to a quarter final in last two seasons and he's a fantastic potter at his best.

Maybe he doesn't train that hard anymore.

Maybe. At least he won an event when he was in form.

Remember when Carter went on a journey across Middle-earth with his mate Gandalf?

Selby past his prime like Robbo?
Would be silly to write them off, but who knows if they'll be as consistent as the class of 92 can to their 40's.

Robbo's long game doesn't seem to be as good as it used to. And since that was his main asset, he's dropped down a notch.
As for Selbo, he's never been the most naturally gifted, so the aging process is bound to affect him more than the others, especially when u consider that he doesn't have the best cue action or cue ball control.
I still expect them to be top players for a few more years, but not once their turn 40. By that point, the likes of Trump and Wilson will be hammering them all day long.

Good to see Allistar Carter strutting around the table like a miniature peacock. He seems to be blinding his opponent with his feather display as the young Chinese man seeems a little bamboozled out there. I'm happy for Ali and want him to lift some silverware tomorrow as a reward for his dedication to the sport. Yes he can be irksome at times but when on song he plays a good tune.

This just popped into my head. What has happened to Jamie Cope ?
He used to be quite good. Not a top dog, but good enough to make up the top 32.

Xiao looks to have the blues. Like everyone else by the looks of it. All their missing is Dan Akroyd and John Belushi to do the mid session entertainment.

That ref is a mean looking hombre. Reminds me a little of Eric Banna who played Chopper Read in 'Chopper'.
