Certainly think he's a good shout to make a decent defence of the Masters. You would expect him to beat Brecel tomorrow and presuming he wins that will start favourite for a quarter final against Ding or Lisowski.
But there have been upsets involving defending champions before. Indeed Allen sent a reigning champion out in the first round three years ago
