Get in!
He's consistent now, something he lacked in the past.
Well played Mark!!!

Allen played better than Murphy and fully deserves his win.

Allen saying it’s ridiculous that Ronnie wasn’t nominated for SPOTY.

Murphy has now lost his last 5 ranking finals. Wow.
4 last season alone.
7 ranking wins in total and 12 runner up finishes.

Why on Earth would Ronnie O'Sullivan win the BBC Sports Personality of the year award? For any snooker payer to win that they would certainly have to win The World Title. In fact they would probably need to win The Masters as well, and maybe even the devalued UK title.
"For his achievements in the UK Championships in beating 'Jackass Lisowski', Martin 'second rate' O'Donnell, and Tom 'I will always play like a beginner against O'Sullivan' Ford; Ronnie O'Sullivan is BBC Sports Personality 2018!
Well deserved!

Sorry, what exactly is this rubbish? I don’t care how good he was this year, by far the best player in the world, unless he wins the World Championship, he can forget about it.

Couldnt care less about this SPOTTY thing...
If any player from Snooker deserved it, then that would be MJW... remarkable what he done last season.
As great an achievment as beating Hendry's 18 TC events was, MJW should be the one who at least would get a nomination.

It would be ridiculous if the only snooker winner since Steve Davis got it in a year they didn’t win the World Championship.

Murphy couldnt make the most when leading in the match.
He led 3-2, and then lost the next 4 frames. When he also found himself leading at 7-6, he folded and lost the next 3.
Credit also goes to Allen who upped his game when needed. Thats what champions do.
