Murphys cue action way too overrated
Murphy in general is overrated, and has overachieved.
In multiple WC, UK and Masters finals. Won 1 final each. Wouldnt say overacheived. More underachieved.

I sort of agree with you.
I don't know if I'd call him overrated but it does confuse me how he's won so much.

Other than his long potting the rest of his game is average, at best. His safety game is one of the worst out of the top 16 players, his cue ball control is all over the place, which makes him break down a lot.
He's definitely overachieved for how average an all round player he is.

I don't agree. Smurf is a great long potter and a good breakbuilder. Hendry was the same, just a bit tougher mentally.
Smurf might not have the best safety, but when the long ones go in, he can beat anybody.

Ronnie, Ding, Higgins, Hendry - all have good cue ball control and make breaks look easy.
Trump and Murphy are not there yet, but even when they loose position, they can still make some great recovery shots to keep the break going. In the end, that's all that matters.

Jimmy managed to replicate Allen's shot.
Robbo's one seems very hard. U probably need a heated table for that shot.

Murphy's a great breakbuilder if he can smash all the reds into the open (like the first frame).
He's probably the worst top 16 player at making clearances with balls on cushions because his finesse play is poor.

That was the best mini session of the season for me.
Long odds that they can replicate that standard.

Judd could be 3-1 up if he hadn't missed two very easy balls, so I wouldn't feel too bad for him.

I am sorry Johnny but I am not sure Mark would be so keen and I only see other professionals in the club rarely so I am reluctant to ask.
I might try social media and see what I can do.

Judd saying he was going to knock the stuffing out of Shaun last night probably fired Shaun up. Only way I see why Shaun started great.
